Homeward Bound of WNC

Homeward Bound of WNC ends homelessness by moving people into permanent housing, and providing the support they need. 89% of the people we've moved into housing are still housed. We receive public and private funding to do our work. If you'd like to be part of the solution, please visit our website and donate today! http://www.homewardboundwnc.org/donate

We were almost out of socks again at AHOPE and then Oppenheimer and Co came through with 202 pairs of warm winter tube socks! Before we run out again, please help us keep AHOPE stocked with socks by dropping off warm winter tube socks to 19 N Ann Street.

Asheville nonprofit Homeward Bound has helped 2,000 homeless people find housing
When it comes to homelessness, statistics convey a bleak reality. But at Homeward Bound's "Open Your Heart to Women and Homelessness" luncheon, they revealed an empowering number. Way to go Women! Thank you to everybody who made the Open Your Heart for Women and Homelessness Lunch and Learn a success! We could not have done it without our sponsors Mobilia - Contemporary Furniture and Four Corners Home, Hedy Fischer of Pink Dog Creative, Malaprop's Bookstore/Cafe, and The Law Offices of Leah Broker. The event was only possible due to our Open Your Hearts Gift Match - thank you Barbra Love, Nancy Maher, Millie Elmore, Holly Fairbairn, and Chris and Courtney Youngblood for matching up to $5,000 for Room in the Inn. A round of applause for Katie Damien film Hope, Trinity Episcopal Church, Asheville, NC, and panelists Donna Ball, Sharon Blythe, Micah Krempasky, and Emily Ball to complete the heartwarming event.
