CREATING A HOME

is key to Homeward Bound’s 92% housing success rate.

Welcome Home Donation Center

The Welcome Home Donation Center is Homeward Bound’s facility where furniture and household goods are collected from the community and distributed to individuals and families who are moving out of homelessness and into housing.

Donation bins are available 24/7, or visit us during business hours, Monday – Friday from 9am to 12pm, at 205 Elk Park Drive, Woodfin, NC 28804.

For furniture pick-ups, call 828.412.5322.

Why Donate?

Most people who are homeless have few or no belongings or furnishings, so when we move individuals and families into their homes, we provide a house full of clean, gently- used furniture and household items donated by our community.

Our goal is for every client to move into a comfortably furnished home.

  • Sponsoring a Move-In Box including toiletries, cleaning supplies, and other household goods for $250
  • Sponsoring a Housewarming by collecting items from our clients’ wish lists to directly enhance someone’s life. Donate wish list items here.
