Welcome Home Donation Center

Our goal is for every client to move into a comfortably furnished home. The Welcome Home Donation Center is Homeward Bound’s facility where furniture and household goods are collected from the community and distributed to individuals and families who are moving out of homelessness and into housing.

How to Donate Items

Donation bins are available 24/7, or visit us during business hours, Monday– Friday from 9 am to Noon at 205 Elk Park Drive, Woodfin, NC 28804.

Why Donate?

Most people who are homeless have few or no belongings or furnishings, so when we move individuals and families into their homes, we provide a house full of clean, gently- used furniture and household items donated by our community

Volunteering at the Donation Center

The Welcome Home Donation Center collects furniture and household goods donated from community members and distributes them to individuals and families moving from homelessness to housing. Volunteers at the Donation Center help us organize, sort and pack household items. You can also help us by:

  • Sponsoring a Move-In Box including toiletries, cleaning supplies, and other household goods for $250.
  • Sponsoring a Housewarming by collecting items from our clients’ wish lists to directly enhance someone’s life. Donate wish list items here.
